I made a great chicken & veggie soup last night. I can't believe just how easy and great tasting it was!
This is a somewhat crappy picture of the quilt I'm currently working on. It's stripped from approximately 10 different fabrics. Most of which are Amy Butler. Since the 1st condo payment is coming up I figured I'd work from my stash instead of purchasing more fabric. I have to say that fatquatershop.com has some of the most yummy fabrics right now and I'm just about dying to buy about 15 yards of fabric from them!
With so many errands put off these past few weeks my husband and I had planned on tackling several of them this weekend, only to have the car die! We did get a few things done, like a visit to a yarn shop, before the Volvo overheated and died! Thank god for good friends. We were able to call Martha and she came and helped us out. I was able to see Molly too! I had actually gotten to Old Navy that morning to purchase her a sweater I saw online.. so even though the car died she still got her sweater! I just love the ribbed design, using a 2x2 in the mid section pulls it in w/o shaping. I can't wait to make one for myself!
Recent purchases include LaceStyle & ScarfStyle. I plan on making Lady Eleanor sometime in the future but with the price of Silk Garden, I may have to pick up a few balls here and there and then hope for the best!
